Go back

A rewrite that does not hold, a deleted scene, one move too many: Gilgamesh keeps what you need to go back, at three levels.

On a floor plan: undo

On a plan (floor plan, location plan), Ctrl+Z undoes, Ctrl+Shift+Z or Ctrl+Y redoes.

On a scene or a note: its versions

  1. Inspector › Scene versions (or Versions, for a note or a setup).
  2. Choose the version and load it.

If the text has changed since, Gilgamesh first offers to save the current state. Nothing else is touched.

Before a rewrite

Save a named version ("before cutting the flashback"): it is easier to find than an automatic version.

On the whole project: project versions

  1. Rail › Versions.
  2. Choose a version: what differs from the current state is shown.
  3. "Restore".

The previous state is kept, as a "before restore" version: a restore is undone by restoring that one. Sent versions, comments and element versions are not touched.

A deleted project

Script Library › Trash › "Restore", within 30 days.

The details: Versions.
