Props
The film's props are of two kinds:
- a hand prop is handled in a scene: the telescope, the umbrella;
- a piece of furniture dresses a location: the lectern, the throne.
Create
- Hand prop: Props page › "+".
- Furniture: it is born in a location's sheet, Furniture section, where it is placed on the location's plan.
Link to a scene
In Write, inspector › Props: tick the prop. It joins the scene's breakdown. A prop linked to no scene is flagged by the review.
Quantities
The quantity is noted where the prop is used: next to the prop ticked in the scene ("× 3" glasses), next to the furniture in the location's sheet ("× 12" chairs). The breakdown shows it ("Glass ×3").
The prop's sheet gives the quantity to provide: the largest number needed at once. Scenes do not add up: three glasses in one scene and two in another, you need three.
The sheet
- Name and kind (hand prop or furniture).
- The quantity to provide, calculated (see Quantities).
- Description.
- A 2D plan of the prop, for its shape on the plans.
