Crossed Arcs
Crossed Arcs shows, on a single axis, how all the characters evolve: the dramatic rhythm of the film.
Page being finished
Crossed Arcs is still being reworked: this page describes what exists today and will be completed.
Reading the view
- The axis follows the story: the scenes in edit order.
- Each row is one arc of a character; its turning points sit on the scene they are linked to.
- You can read where the arcs turn, and where they cross.
A turning point linked to no scene waits in "Not anchored".
Where the arcs come from
Arcs are created in a character's sheet: an arc, its initial situation, its turning points linked to scenes, its final situation. Crossed Arcs gathers them; nothing is entered here. "Open the sheet" leads to the character.
Arcs come out with the character sheets, in the Bible (Share › Documents).
