The welcome tour

The welcome tour shows you around the app the first time you sign in: a series of bubbles, page after page, on the example project.

What it shows

In order: the Script Library (create, import, open the example project), the Overview, Write (an open scene), Notes, Characters and Locations (an open sheet), Cast, Share and its sent versions, the Bible, then Search and the Feedback button.

Each bubble is a real help bubble of the page: the ones you see during the tour are marked as read.

Moving on

  • Next goes to the next bubble, changing page if needed.
  • Skip (or Esc) skips a bubble without marking it read: it stays to be discovered, at the page's "?" marker.
  • The "n / total" counter shows where you are; the last bubble says Finish.

Seeing it again

Settings › Preferences › "Replay the welcome tour": it starts again at the Script Library.

Help bubbles

Outside the tour, every heading that needs an explanation carries a "?" marker. Touch it: a bubble opens, one sentence first, then "Learn more ›". Bubbles are turned off in Settings › General ("Built-in help"); your progress page by page is shown there too.

A mistake, something missing on this page? Tell us with the app's "Feedback" button.
